Would You Like To Become More Involved With ILFA?

Perhaps you could do a once-off fundraising event such as a coffee morning or maybe you would be interested in setting up a local ILFA support group where you live.

You can decide what level of involvement you would like to have. If you are interested in getting more involved, ILFA would like to hear from you.

You can contact us via post @ PO Box 10456, Blackrock, County Dublin; via email @ or by calling 086 871 5264

Various tribute nights, concerts, quiz nights, BBQ parties, school re-unions, and line-dancing events have been held to raise funds for ILFA. We are grateful to the gifted people who offer up their special talents and skills to raise money.

Canon Haskins and his team of collectors regularly raise funds for ILFA by holding a sit-out in Dublin before Christmas. Well done to the courageous volunteers who brave the elements to raise valuable funds.

Michelle Giles (Cavan) and her line-dancing group, Starlight Express, held 2 fundraising nights for ILFA in 2006 and 2007. Their foot tapping and sashaying have raised valuable funds to support the work of ILFA. Well done to all the dancers in Cavan !

Thank you to the Side Street Café, Cootehill, Cavan, for holding a coffee morning in aid of ILFA. A fantastic sum of money was raised.

Caitriona O’ Brien, Side Street Café, Cavan.

“Our coffee morning was such an enjoyable event. Thank you to the community for their support. Look out for next year’s event !”

Martina and Mick Osborne (Carlow) celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary in 2007 by holding a barbeque for family and friends. Instead of gifts they asked for donations. A tremendous amount was raised for ILFA. Thank you for your thoughtfulness and generosity.

Martina & Mick Osborne, Carlow.

"The barbeque of 9/6/07 brought family & friends together in the sunshine to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was a fun day in which we toasted absent friends. The gifts of donations to ILFA helped us share our occasion with memories of a very special person."
