DUBLIN CITY MARATHON

In 2008, 6 athletes took part in the 29th Dublin City Marathon on behalf of ILFA: Andrew Grehan, Eavan Murray, Angela Collins, Niall Kerley, Stephen Cassidy, and Peter Edwards. We appreciate the great efforts of the athletes in this most challenging of sports.

In 2007, Andrew Grehan (Westmeath) and Tony Browne (Kildare) both completed the Dublin City Marathon on behalf of the ILFA.
Other supporters have run for ILFA in the Cork, Berlin, and Paris marathons.

“2008 is my third year running the marathon. I’ve always run for ILFA and will continue to do so to try to create more awareness for lung fibrosis and to help continue to support the good work being done by all involved. Knowing I can make some sort of difference to someone else’s life is very uplifting and motivational and makes finishing a marathon all the more worthwhile”
